Food & beverage ordering app for the neighbourhood?

ABOUT THE PROJECT

BACKGROUND

A young entrepreneur living in Jeongja-dong, Bundang-gu, requested UI design. A year after developing a packaged food pickup ordering platform, ringring, he realized that users often misunderstood the pickup order service he provided as a delivery app. In addition, considering the feedback that it is sometimes confusing because the interface seems to be not organized well. He wanted to make up for the shortcomings through renewal design. 

GOAL

1. Encourage users to accurately understand the identity of the ringring app service.
2. Design the interfaces that are confusing for users to be morecumbersome and user-friendly.

  • Emphasize that it is a food-ordering app, not a delivery app, but a packaged food-ordering app. Users must be able to understand that they need to pick up their orders by themselves. 

  • Leverage image resources to deliver simple and easy messages

  • Adjust margins and padding properly for a better sense of order

  • Change font and size

  • Adjust font row and column spacing to enhance a clean look & feel

  • Design app introduction page, menu and store introduction screen, shopping basket, menu price selection screen, payment screen, order status, and order history screen. A total of 14 screen designs.
